It has been a great summer settling into our new home in downtown Wake Forest. As many of you know, Property Specific moved into the longtime home of Sweetie’s Candy Store. Chris worked hard to renovate and update the space, and we are happy to be home!
(PS: Some of the old paint remains! Be sure to come visit to find out where it’s hiding ;) )
The best part about our new home is the community. We LOVE our neighbors! The downtown Wake Forest vibe is loving, community-centered, and caring. And our neighbors have been SO welcoming. Here are a few of our crowd favorites from folks in our office:
The Lemon Tree Café is a crowd favorite in the Property Specific office for lunch. Since it’s right across the street, fresh, healthy, and fast, we are all in there a lot! Lori loves it most of all.
Wake Forest Coffee company is another big favorite. If you come by while Jeannene is in the office, you can almost always see her with an iced espresso drink in hand. Shelley and Jory love the frappes and seasonal lattes, and everyone loves the dessert! We all appreciate their art displays and record collections you can see inside, too!
Norse Brewing Co. and White Street Brewing are two places we love to support by having friend and family to meet us after a good day of serving our clients. They make for a great socially distanced hangout on the weekend.
Whitney loves shopping for handmade gifts from Southern Suds & Gifts. Going inside is like walking into a wonderland. Whitney especially loves the wreaths and custom welcome signs. She also says the handmade soaps and bath salts are to die for!
Becca wanted to give a shoutout to the Wake Forest farmer’s market – it’s a great open-air market to get fresh vegetables & fruit, but Becca especially loves that fresh eggs, meats, and flowers are also plentiful. Kate loves Farm to Table, too!
Last but CERTAINLY not least, we have to thank Circa Magazine for featuring us back in August. They have been so hospitable and helpful welcoming us into Wake Forest.
